About Us

MyPatientScheduler is the brain child of Dr. Nicholas Thompson, a 1997 graduate of University of Oregon School of Dentistry, and Jim Young, a 20 year veteran of the Information Technology industry. Together, they created MyPatientScheduler to fill a much needed gap in the Medical and Dental industries, that of patient self service.

While there are examples of patient communication systems, the market lacks full-featured systems designed to allow patients to make and manage their own appointments. For years we have all been making airline and hotel bookings via the internet, but what about making your own appointment for a physical or to have your teeth cleaned? MyPatientScheduler fills that need.

MyPatientScheduler is owned, supported, and distributed by Medicus Software LLC.

The Management Team

Medicus Software LLC was formed to bring MyPatientScheduler to the world. It is organized and manged to support our MyPatientScheduler customers.

Dr. Nicholas Thompson, DMD

Dr. Thompson is a practicing Dentist on Bainbridge Island, Washington. His role as our Chief Product Adviser provides us with industry incite and guidance that you cannot put a price on! Dr. Thompson's office has been using the MyPatientScheduler service since its inception in 2007. The proverbial eating your own dog food applies here!

Jim Young

Jim is President and Chief Technology Officer. He is the primary architect and developer of MyPatientScheduler. Twenty years of software architecture, development, and project management experience give our development team the leadership needed to create industry strength software.

Christopher Johnson "CJ"

CJ is Director of Sales and Marketing. An experience Entrepreneur and Airline Captain, CJ brings a unique set of skills to our management team and an uncompromising eye for product quality and customer relationship management.
