How to Disable Text Messaging for a Patient

Some patients may not want to receive text messages from your office reminding them of their appointments or asking for a confirmation. MyPatientScheduler allows the FrontDesk Administrator to disable text messaging on a patient by patient bases.

To Disable Text Messaging for a Patient:

  1. Navigate to the patient record you wish to disable texting for.
  2. Uncheck the SMS Reminders? checkbox.
  3. Save your changes.
