How to Disable Text Messaging for a Patient
Some patients may not want to receive text messages from your office reminding them of their appointments or asking for a confirmation. MyPatientScheduler allows the FrontDesk Administrator to disable text messaging on a patient by patient bases.
To Disable Text Messaging for a Patient:
- Navigate to the patient record you wish to disable texting for.
- Uncheck the SMS Reminders? checkbox.
- Save your changes.
